Printmaking
Our printmaking workshops offer an introduction to the art of relief printmaking, or blockprinting, in a warm and inclusive environment that invites participants to carve imagery that is exciting to them. Made using carving tools and a carving medium, this class is fun, inspiring and welcomes artists of all abilities, ages 12+.
Metalsmithing
Wild Rosie offers a variety of metalsmithing classes, including hand-forged earrings, cuff bracelets and pendants. In these classes, we learn the art of applying texture to sterling silver, brass and copper, shaping pieces around steel forms, and using “cold connections” (the process of connecting metal elements without the use of a torch). Wonderful introductory courses to small-scale metalwork. Ages 14+ welcome!
Textile Arts
Textile arts are central to what we make at Wild Rosie, and we love sharing our passion for these art forms with our students! From botanical dyes and cyanotypes to indigo vats and embroidery, we offer a range of workshops on color. Age bracket depends on the particular workshop, but generally great for ages 12+.
